Internet in Pakistan – Price war is ON

Recently with the launch of LinkDotNet and their competitive pricing (256kbps @ Rs.1200, 512kbps @ Rs.1800, 1mbps @ Rs.3900), Maxcom reduced their rates as well (but, 1mbps @ Rs.3600).

I had almost made my mind for MaxCom but PTCL gave another shock! (512kbps @ Rs.1200, 1mbps @ Rs.2000, 2mbps @ Rs.5000) with no Bandwidth limit, and 30% discount for Students. On the other hand, LinkDotNet could not resist and reduced their rates as well to compete PTCL 🙂 , offering 2mbps @ Rs.3900 🙂

It is expected that PTCL would come up with new tarrif in next few days 🙂 while I just noticed the increased speed on my 384kbps Worldcall Broadband, for which I’m paying Rs.1800 per month, it looks like they have upgraded it to 512kbps but its not officially confirmed yet!

   Get Link Dot Net , it’s fast on 1 mb , I get around 400mb / hr @ 107kb/s

   Im on LinkDotNet as well 🙂 Get around 112-118Kbytes / sec

   hi i ordered for ptcl dsl but after 13 days they said that my phoneline have weak interruptions and this will not allow dsl all people have this problem there is no use ptcl sucks u have around 25% chances that ur line will support dsl

   and can u please give me the contact website and phone number for linkdotnet

   Im happy with LDN 🙂 had some billing issues with PTCL, and they ate up my 21000 rupees!

   Link dot net is discriminating the Customers. Specially BAGHBANPURA. If you in such an area kindly ABUSE them, since their DSL in such area is truely SHI…..
   They dont have Card at exchange There waste your MONEY, TIME, OPPORTUNITIES….
   beware…
